And we kiss
And we kiss
'till the blood leaves our lips
and the castles in our eyes
make the veins in our thighs
look like paths to the rooms
that other people call our wombs.
And the air caught in our throats
eats the thoughts in our hair,
As the black in our nails,
like the noir on the screen
makes red ribbon little trails
Down the spines, Down our backs
As we kiss,
Yes we kiss,
Until it all goes away.
A/N) this was kind of an "omigosh pick up a pen and write on the nearest paper surface" kinda poem, inspired by the latest chapter in Extra-strength Peppermint Tea's fantastical story Bright Eyes. (thanx ms. miss, you're writing is a drug).
