heaven here in the middle

Hearing transparent symphonies of love & elation,
Listening to words unspoken.
Staring at the world that is at the brink of damnation,
Looking through the stained glass in complete confusion.

Silently making a sound of whispers and breezes,
Waiting for the time until it freezes.
Harsh murmurs of my breath suffocates the night,
Keeping the moon & the stars from giving off their light.

The cold soil beneath my feet starts to drown,
It traps me & stops me from going down.
The storm washes me away to the gates of heaven,
Leaving me breathless & unforgiven.

No matter how hard I try to kneel & be penitent,
It seems that His word just can’t be sent.
Toying with the golden metal bars of prison,
I just can’t deny the truth & the reason.

Searching for mercy & deliverance from up above,
Though hopeless & out of faith - I just can’t give up.
Just then a white bright light surrounds me,
With His arms open-wide - He sets me free.
