Today is

grey and quiet and

all washed out edges,

and we try to make sense of it,

but you know we never could.

-

Sometimes,

my heart

attempts to escape

through my throat, but

don't worry, don't worry,

I'm not letting go;

-

Sometimes

you might think

that you're all alone

in the universe

but you're not.

-

Deeply flawed

is the human mind, but

it's what makes you beautiful

to me, and

although we are threadbare

from the strain,

we will hold.

-

Today is

grey and quiet and

all washed out edges,

but even in the rain,

you are loved.

Notes: 'Cause I needed to vent. :( And I can't even pull off the emo business properly! There wasn't even ONE "single crystalline tear"! Not ONE mention of the word "crimson"! sob I fail at being angsty.

... Hey, I wonder if I can make Adrian cry single, crystalline tears. And maybe change his hair colour to crimson. D'you think he'll kill me? XD
