A/N. poem to accompany a story I wrote.

Heroes of Time

Kissed by the Gods she falls
a celestial orb of light
Towards the ground
She arrives.

Born with a fate he runs
Feet barely touching the floor
towards the destiny
he awaits.

She reaches homewards
Turns ice into passionate desire
Golden rain blesses her
tells her the way.

He touches the sky with a single shiver
Makes bereft hearts roll towards
The people they knew
cheering them on.

Together they meet, souls start to join
Entwined in one silver slice of the moon
Stay tightly as one, they do not part
Their fate carries them on
As Heroes of Time and the last of the Sages.
