VI

As I walk through the streets of the City I feel a sense of loneliness overtake me. There are 750,000 people in the City, yet it often feels as if there's no one here at all, except for me. If only I could find someone, anyone. I walk among the faceless ghosts of the past, present, and future; they are memories, illusions, nameless wanderers that I will not soon remember, even if, by chance, I happen to run into them again, and again, and again. No, I am alone here in this desolate place.
