Legend of the Shattered Heart

The Land of Korac

In the land of Korac, there has been a war between humans and demons as long as each race could remember. It was a blood war and in the end of this war, both races will be obliterated, wiped off this land leaving nothing but chaos and misery. That is why this land was named after the chaotic war god, Korac.

The only thing that both humans and demons had common ground with is that they all had Hearts. It is a jewel that each being is born with and they cannot be removed by from someone other than the bearer, though a being of great power may have the power to do so. The Heart contains the bearer’s soul and memories of their life, and without it, the bearer would either die or go completely insane. There was no other way around these rules for the gods of wisdom and knowledge had created them: you cannot break a law made by a god.

Yet…even the gods of wisdom and knowledge could not foretell that one being had lived without a Heart for a long time, becoming something both races detested most dearly…one being yet two…bearing the name of a god…having the power of a god…
