Here I sit screaming the word no
As I'm holding you while you're letting go
Bathed I am now in your blood
As I wonder your reason for this crimson flood
-
I can't even speak through the shock
All I can seem to do is scream
On you my mind will forever be locked
As I discover I'm not dreaming
-
There's nothing anyone can do or say
To change how that blade's taken you today
There are still hours before sunrise
And already I hear my heart as it dies
-
I can't even speak through the shock
All I can seem to do is scream
On you my mind will forever be locked
As I discover I'm not dreaming
-
It's freezing here tonight
Still hours away from morning's light
But you still feel warm
Though I know nothing can calm this storm
