Well I walked in the room and saw you sitting there
I stopped in my tracks and stared at what must have been
And angel and your smile caught my eye as it lit up the room
I regretted turning away cause after I did reality came back in

Our eyes kept meeting you had a type of sadness inside
But yet the love hidden away couldn’t help but peak
Around the corner and show me just how beautiful you are
I have a picture of you in my head and I wish it’s all I’d ever have to see

There’s a love in you that I can’t wait to see
I just hope I can
I got one chance and I gotta make it count
I just hope I can
I hope I can sweep you out from under your feet
I just hope I can
I’m wishing on a star, and thinking about where you are

When I first heard your voice I thought I was dreaming
It was the softest and sweetest thing my ears had ever heard
I just wanted you too keep talking just so I could sit and listen
To put your voice to music would be the lullaby of the world

I thought you were a figment of my imagination
You light up the night and looked like an angel
I never thought something could be so perfect
You lit up my life and scared away the devil

There’s a love in you that I can’t wait to see
I just hope I can
I got one chance and I gotta make it count
I just hope I can
I hope I can sweep you out from under your feet
I just hope I can
I’m wishing on a star, and thinking about where you are

I miss you and I don’t know you for more then 2 hours
You’ve stuck in my head since that fate full night
There’s something about you that I can’t quite figure out
But I wanna try so I gotta get to know you more and that’s something
I don’t have a problem with doing.
