Hello, I am a Singaporean.

kinks in the conformities (of public toilet cisterns) /

idols imitating icons and oh surprise! they don’t measure up /

ants cavorting, crawling, crowding the ‘kopitiam’;

scavenging, scuttling, scavengers, they hate the glitterati (litterati) litterbug /

ubiquitous is this religion that unites us as we fall, no controversy, no, not at all /

oh we give excuses every day it’s almost compulsory, and

I’m ashamed, appalled; at the Armageddon all I’ll admit is that:

no, we’re not overly enthusiastic, competitive, rough, uncouth.

we're not kiasu and I’ll pretend I’ve never heard such a thing,

no, we’re just true-blue (blooded?) Singaporeans, lah!

A/N: Uhm.. Non-Singaporeans or Asians and the like who don't understand Singlish might not really understand this. I'm sorry for the discrepancy. Please review.
