Dad and uncle in front

Sister and I in back

We walk on the long road

White stones every where you look

This is the price

The price for keeping us free

I stop by one and look

I don't know the guy

He didn't know me

The only connection is the country

The country he died for.

We walk further till we get to the tomb

A stolid soldier marches back and forth

The same movements each time

When you look what does the tomb say?

It says 'Unknown'

We don't know who's in there

We never truly will

We do know one thing though

The boy or man who's in there died

Died for the nation

Died to keep us free

Free from a dictator rule

Free to say 'In God We Trust'

Free to be ourselves
