Lorena’s “I’ll never Marry a Fat Guy” Story

Only it goes “I’ll Never Date a Fat Guy” Story

The four girls sat around the table at art club, abandoned by all their other friends for greener pastures, and read off the book that Lorena had to work with for her project. For some reason, the section on what boys and girls think of each other seemed very interesting. Of course it was, three-fourths of the girls there had yet to have any experience with a guy, even hugging.

“’Guys that are muscular are sexy…’” All the girls exchanged looks. “I think that’s disgusting.” Shippo handed the book back to Lorena.

“Actually, I like them solid. Toned, you could say.” Maya said, thinking her input was important. She looked at Amanda, expecting her to say something, only to see her biting her nails, not paying attention to the subject.

“They better be toned or athletic. I’ll never marry a fat guy.” The whole table burst out in laughter and she didn’t see anything funny about her statement. She was completely serious about the statement, mind you; she might have been exaggerating a little.

They all spent a full five minutes laughing at her. She chuckled a little, it was funny. Sadly enough though, it was true. All the guys she liked or even thought remotely attractive were skinny. She could fit her hand around them. She had no problem with that, just with a fat guy.

They spent the rest of art club talking about the new information. Maya was then determined to make sure that she would end up marrying a fat guy. Amanda would help her in a task. Everyone at the table was threatening her with the future that she would end up marrying a fat guy. She kept denying it and giving reasons why. One of them being BDK, a codename for one of the boys she liked, and the comparison between him and a fat guy. It was a very big comparison and in her mind, all fat guys were ugly. She liked people from their appearance in somewhat of a shallow manner.

They all went their separate ways with Amanda and Maya calling out a threat of “You will marry a fat guy!” and “We’ll make sure you eat your words!” She rolled her eyes and walked over to her car. They could change the way she dressed, but not the way she viewed the male race.

She wouldn’t marry a fat guy.
