Goooooood morning Los Angeles!! It’s time for your morning information with Shawn Mac on 91.9FM Beat Radio! It’s gonna be another hot day out there so shorts are a recommendation. Don’t fret too much though because the breeze will cool you down. Traffic is good for all you going off to school this morning. According to our Eye-in-the-Sky, everything is as it always is so leave at your normal time. Hey, coming up next, Rihanna’s “S.O.S” after these messages…

I smacked the alarm clock and rolled over, burying my face in my pillow. Five more minutes, then I’ll get up. My dreams are too nice and my bed is too cozy.

I never really knew that she could dance like this
She makes a man wants to speak Spanish
Como se llama, bonita, mi casa, su casa
Shakira, Shakira

My eyes snapped open and sat up quickly, ignoring the heavy head feeling and smacking my alarm clock again. I don’t mind that song, but it’s not something I want to wake up to.

“Kris, are you still asleep?” The door flew open and my little sister came into the room.

“Do you ever knock?” I asked.

“Why should I?” My sister asked.

“UNCLE ETHAN!!” I yelled. Yeah…I live with my uncle. And my little sister isn’t really all that little. She’s fourteen. I’m seventeen.

“Megan, leave your sister alone!!” Uncle Ethan called. This was almost a daily ritual. Megan stuck her tongue out at me and slammed the door. A lot of guys think she’s hot. For a fourteen year old brat, she does have some good qualities, like the natural big boob thing that every female on our mom’s side seemed to have. At fourteen, she already had 46B cup. I know because I had one of her bras in my laundry once. With her strawberry blonde, mid-back length hair and green eyes, my sister is a knock-out.

I’m sorta like the older, slightly taller and bigger breasted version of her except my blonde hair reached my ass and I had one green eye, one blue eye. And I was 34DD cup. Surprisingly enough, they don’t really look that big.

“Kristina!! You’re going to miss your ride!” Uncle Ethan called. I sighed and looked at my clock. I still had at least twenty minutes before Lukas got here. I showered quickly and changed into a black tank top with a silver rose in the middle of the chest, and jeans that I had turned into shorts. I put my hair into a ponytail and just finished with the lip gloss when I heard a car honking. I ran down the stairs, slid my feet into my sandals and bolted out the door. I jumped into the backseat of the car.

“Well hey, speedy Gonzales.” Lukas said. He’s the kind of guy a lot of girls like. Brown hair, brown eyes, muscular and could sweet talk his way out of anything…or into anything.

“Just go.” I said. He pulled out of the driveway and the girl in the passenger seat turned to look at me. “Hey sweets.”

“Hey baby doll.” My best friend, Lena, said. She’s like me, long blonde hair, blue eyes, the whole lot…except the boobs. Lucky bitch goes with C cup. She thinks I’m lucky. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind the size but it gets annoying when that’s all guys look at.

“Do we have to go to school today?” I asked.

“Well…I think we should.” Lena said. “We got new students remember.”

“Oh joy.” I said, sarcastically. “Oh bliss.” I hated new students. They were either too timid or too full of themselves.

“My source told me it’s a guy and a girl and their from the same place.” Lukas said.

“Did you hack into the school computer again?” I asked. Lukas just smiled and nodded. I laughed then leaned forward and threw my arms over Lena’s shoulders and linked my hands in the middle of her chest. “I’m so bored of the same things everyday.”

“Well…Christmas is only two months away.” Lena said, holding onto my hands. No there is nothing between us. We’re just best friends. Ok so we’re sorta known for doing crazy, spontaneous kissing but that’s only when we’re bored and really have nothing better to do.

“There’s the hellhole.” Lukas said, pulling into the student parking lot. Sighing, I unhooked my hold on Lena and got out of the car.

“Think about it this way.” Lena said, getting out and putting her arm through mine. “This is our second to last year…and the last year we have without your sister.”

“Ah…don’t remind me.” I said, making a face. I love Megan, really I do…but I just don’t want her to be a constant clingy pain in my ass. We walked into the school and found the rest of our group. There are three brunette girls: Aaron, Sam and Amanda, another blonde: Darla, two black guys: Curtis and Mark, a blonde guy: James and another brown-haired guy: Nick.

“Kris, babe. You seriously need to get a boyfriend.” Curtis said, wrapping his arms around Sam. Did I forget to mention they were all dating each other?? Curtis and Sam, James and Lena, Mark and Darla, Aaron and Nick and Amanda and Lukas. Lena and Lukas are step-brother and –sister.

“Why?” I asked.

“Because you look so lonely.” Curtis said. Lena threw her arms around me and gave me a quick kiss.

“She’ll never be lonely with me around.” She said. I just laughed.

“Anyone see the new people yet?” Mark asked. Everyone, including me, shook their heads. “Principal alert.” Everyone broke apart from their couple holds and I turned and jumped when I saw the principal, Mr. Coughlan, standing right behind me.

“Miss Williams.” He snapped his fingers. I was right in front of him…he didn’t need to do anything to get my attention. “Come with me.”

“I just got here…how am I in trouble already?” I muttered. Everyone shrugged and gave me sympathetic looks as I followed Mr. Coughlan. To my horror, as we entered his office, I saw two people I didn’t know (probably the new ones) and my ex-boyfriend, David. He had dark brown hair and brown eyes. Unlike Lukas who was a nice muscle type, David seemed to practically live in the goddamn gym. He was packed with muscles.

“Place take a seat.” Mr. Coughlan said. He’s saying please? One of these new people must be loaded if he’s being nice around them. I sat down at the other side from my ex. We only broke up last week because I was getting sick of all his lies and his cheating. I looked at the new people, a guy and a girl. Their body language suggested something was going on between them and I doubt it was family because there was nothing similar about them…apart from the fact that they both seemed to be wearing the same colour of lipstick.

“So…what’s going on?” David asked, bringing my attention to him.

“You two are to be guides for our new students.” Mr. Coughlan said. I groaned. “For the whole week.” That was the principal I knew. “Is there a problem with that Miss Williams?”

“No sir.” I said, flatly.

“Good.” Mr. Coughlan said. He looked at the girl. She had black hair and dark eyes to match. She could have spent a little bit of time in the sun but other then that she was pretty, I guess. “Lauren Taylor.”

“Yes?” The girl, Lauren, said.

“David Jones here will be your guide.” Mr. Coughlan said. That caught me by surprise. The guy, who was sitting next to me, looked at me. I looked at him. He had blue eyes and hair that was so obviously bleached. Bits of brown roots were starting to show.

“Guess that means we’re together.” He said. I was surprised by the accent. Lauren didn’t have one…and they did come from the same place didn’t they?

“William Smith.” My Coughlan said. “Kristina Williams will be your guide.”

“I think we figured that one out on our own there.” The guy said. Gutsy move.

“I have chosen things this way because Mr. Smith and Miss Williams have the same homeroom.” Mr. Coughlan said. “As do Miss Taylor and Mr. Jones.”

“That explains things.” I said.

“Here are your schedules.” Mr. Coughlan said. He handed Lauren and Will their schedules then his eyes settled on David then myself, although he talked to the other two. “Your guides will show you to all your classes. If you don’t have the same classes then they will meet you.” Great…just what I need….to be running around this damn place trying to get this stupid new guy from one class to the next then trying to get to my own. “Any questions?”

“Yeah…when’s lunch?” Will asked.

“It’s right there on your schedule.” Mr. Coughlan said. He looked as if he could really use a stress reliever ball. “Any other questions?” When none of us said anything he nodded. “Good…now go to class.” Simultaneously the four of us stood and left.

“Both homerooms are down the same hall.” I said.

“You sound upset about that.” David said, smirking. “You didn’t used to mind. You used to hate that ours were the same.”

“Key word, Used to.” I said. He wrapped his arms around me once we were out of sight from the office.

“Come on baby. I told you I was sorry.” David said. “What do I gotta do to convince you?” He pushed my hair behind my ear. I pushed him away.

“You could stay away from me.” I said. I looked at Will and Lauren who seemed to be in a similar position except she wasn’t fighting him off. “This whole school if going to be overrun by horn-ball guys.”

“Hey! I resent that.” Will said.

“Whatever.” I said, turning another corner. “This is where you get off.” I looked at David.

“You wish, baby.” David said. I rolled my eyes, crossed my arms and tapped my toe as I waited for Will and Lauren to break apart. I was in no rush to get to homeroom but I was in a rush to get away from David. “Come on Lauren, class awaits.”

“Alright then.” Lauren said. I stared at her. She and David went into their class and I spun around to continue down the hall to my own.

“Wait up!” Will called. I heard him run up next to me. “What’s wrong with you?”

“Nothing.” I said. “I just don’t want to play babysitter.” I pushed open the door to my class and went to the back to my seat next to James. On the other side of me there was an empty desk so I already knew where Mr. new-guy was going to be sitting.

“Class…this is William Smith.” The teacher said. She looked at Will. “Why don’t you tell us a bit about yourself?”

“My family just moved here last week from England, along with my girlfriend’s family.” Will said. That explains the accent. “I’m eighteen and you all can call me Will.” Already do, I thought.

“Alright then.” The teacher said. “You may take the seat next to Miss Williams.” Will smirked, I rolled my eyes, and he walked back before plopping down in the seat. Oh yeah…he was going to be one of those new students that are WAY too full of themselves.
