Early morning comes

I awake to a shaking

"Come with us, you'll enjoy"

A tall man I love says

"Please, come"

A girl I also love says

"Alright, but I'm dunking you"

I tell the girl

She runs, runs with a smile

She doesn't always smile

It's nice

We walk

Walk from the cabin that holds memories

Down the street we go

The tall man looks at us and smiles

We're his girls

He looks at me thinking I'm to old

Wonders where the years have gone

He's scared, scared his little girl is growing up to fast

He looks at her

He doesn't know what to think

She's full of life

Talking of boyfriends

She smiles at me

Hopes for a response

Being the loving sister I give her one

Not the normal one

But the one she's used to

A smack on the head

He laughs

Towels strung over our necks

We reach the gate

Down the steps we go

The sand feels good, warm

He's the first one in, followed by me

She's leary, not sure if she wants to

We convince her though

I don't dunk her

I know she doesn't like that

Half hour later it's time to go

Time to get breakfast

We walk back

Up the hill that we went down

We walk back on the street that we know

We find the cabin of memories

Aromas of waffles fill our noses

We walk down the steps

There we find two ladies of wonder

One with red hair and freckles

The other with brown hair.

We all sit

We talk and laugh

This is where I like to be

This is family
