AUM

Is it a surprise that I would go to such lengths
To live, to experience this, my color
The color of me, my dreams, my sacred sensibility
Is it so unbelievable?

Surely not, for if there were even the slightest chance
I would have stayed behind, I would have stayed
Not once would I have walked out into this
Into the unbelievable

Is it funny to see me in this light?
Standing not as a man or a boy or another fool of yours
But as a vision of glorious clarity
And understanding

"I believed and I saw, I saw and I believed
I lived and was not whole"
Same story, different angle
The doubting thomas' at work

I understand the words, and what came with them
A message, inscribed in flame, upon my breast
Upon your flesh, a name, a holy syllable

"At one with all" you swear
Swear upon the book of your choice
I have saved a place for you, troubled child
You who can't see
Caturtha

Here, right now, and just then
Singular, multiple moments
One, repeating, repeating
Ants marching up a hill

Water rushing down it
It all goes somewhere
And all ends the same
Surrounded in silence

Death and ending
A farce, a trick

It is complete
The end has ended now
Death, exposed, is dead
And life hereafter shall end as well

All existence shall be approached through the word
All and anything shall be achieved through the dream

'Together' is dead, and 'alone' as well

You are I, I am us, and we are eternal.
