A/N: Ok so this came to me some time ago and I wrote it on a napkin. Well its been eating at me so I found this napkin and wrote it out with a few tweaks but its mainly the rough draft that was on the napkin. I don’t know what made me think of it…but I love the thought of artists (all types) make feelings felt…like if we didn’t have artists we wouldn’t know what feelings are for or how to express them or even feel them in ourselves. I guess its like a rallying poem to all the artists in the world.

Brothers and sisters of art,
This is more then a message,
This is a call to all of you,
A call to arms for expression.

No matter if your art is the written word,
Or the art of drawing,
Through the art of dance,
Or the art of speech.

Let your voices be heard,
Your written word be read,
And your musical genius be felt,
Let your mind flow freely.

It is time to bring about change,
To make governments reel,
Topple the restraints of the ignorant,
And bring about a new renaissance.

Let no being hinder your image,
Let no mortal try to turn you from yourself,
We are the only voices to a great many,
For, through our art we speak for the shy and oppressed.

We alone make art,
We alone evoke feelings,
We alone give feelings a soul,
Through our art we alone make feelings felt.
