is a swirling monotonous combination
of predictable events strung together,

(a dull chain strangling me)

Until You.
a quick upturn of your perfect lips.
I am
clinging tight so it will last
closing my eyes forcing
myself to remember.

(vivid colours are dancing, exploding)

You have me caught – a butterfly
settling happily in your
net.
