In my solitude you haunt me, with reveries of days gone by.

In my solitude you taunt me, with memories that never die.

I can’t feel you breathing, not a part of me can care.

Your heart, it has ceased beating, just as if you were never there.

How many more times, will you cause me pain?

How much more of my heart will be chipped away in vain.

You’re dead to me you’re gone, as if you were never alive,

But it is in your absence, in your death, I start to thrive
