It's a slow Sunday. Yesterday I missed a former co-worker's baby shower. I've been up all nite, for no reason worth discussing. But up early I am trying to be productive enough to make up for yesterday's sloth. I'm distracted, so to combat its effects on my productivity I switch projects each time I feel my focus waning. I'm now working on a pair of baby hats. I'm crocheting one; I'll knit the next, I think. "Good Day Sunshine" comes on the internet radio station. My speakers are very outdated. I don't mind; they work pretty good. Something about the pale yellow yarn, the Beatles sounding tinny from my tiny speakers, and the warming dawn light coming through my window makes me think: 'Maybe it will be a good day afterall.'
