The Solemn Vow of the Destitute

-----

I love thee Love,

for all you’re worth,

for you are no cup of rice or sugar or life.

You are the will behind us all,

the purpose to the day and to the light

shielding us from darkness

and seeing us turn to dark before you.

You are the source of relevance,

for no things exist without the holy,

lest of vow --

The vow to love thee, Love,

for all you’re worth.

Let me die a begging soul,

let not an incomplete one,

for thus I am without thee,

to guide me back to livelihood.
