And I waited to speak these words
(although you've heard them before)
I've waited just to rage them at you
(with the passage of time marked upon my wrists)
Yet you can only give me that look as soundlessly my lips move
(and all I can sigh is a request from them "just hold me?")
Its sad I had to ask it of you
(knowing its another cookie-cut lie)
All of my anger billows away upon a breeze
(as I sink into your arms knowing paradise again)
Though isn't it funny how this paradise was my greatest sin
(I gave up any chance of heaven, just for you)
This is but the second time its come to this
(while I let you breathe life through my lips)
That old spark came back just a quick
(leaving me jealous that another will hold you tomorrow)
A kiss this sweet makes me tremor, yes tremor within
(And sadly I know, its always too good to be true)
