My Last Letter

I can't imagine us

away from each other.

What will happen when I'm in despair?

Who will I ask to when I'm in doubt?

Who will calm me down when I'm furious?

Who will lend their shoulder to me to cry on?

-

I can't imagine,

three of us standing in different direction backing one another,

trying to grab the world in our own way.

Pursuing our dream which we put high up

and somehow we only look above to the sky.

-

I just hope

that the bond we've made is strong enough,

to stand against the distance we are parted,

and the busyness of the life we had.

So we don't act as strangers

when we meet again someday.

-

I know

it's kind of naïve but I just hope

that our friendship last until we grew old,

where I see your husband to be,

which I hope he treat you well.

Then we still together when our faces started to wrinkle,

and grandchildren we had.

-

But there's one last thing I need to tell you,

as I never told this before.

I love you

and I care for you

always.
