Unheard Pain.

The full moon flooded the still courtyard with pale silver light. Shadows stretched long and macabre, twisted by the eerie light of the moon.

In the very centre of the yard a figure lay gasping great lungfuls of air between wracking sobs that shook a naked and bloodstained back. The moon, still and unmoving, was the only witness to this lone creatures pain. Slowly, still shaking from the torment rained down upon him, he raised a pale, gaunt face, glinting with tears, to his steadfast companion.

In the light of the full moon two solid blue eyes shimmered with yet more tears. In all her glory the moon stared down at the wretched creature and pitied him. Two gaping wounds on his bloodied back showed him or what he was. For what he had been before and what he now was.

An angel stripped of his wings.

A/N:This is just something my muse came up with whilst on a break from Leave it all Behind. Thought I might as well post it for you lovely people - leave me a review and let me ((and my muse)) know what you thought...
