Diary of Ren & Njuzi: la partie deux
-:- Le prélude…
-:- The strange feeling
“So far, so good. The sisters have not united yet, they are still safe.” Ren stood alone in the night at the forlorn river, which was the same place he last say the sisters together. He was like a statue, letting the winds waved his sliver hair across his face. His sapphire eyes gazed at the rivers small ripples, and the highlights that the moon contrasted with it as well. He inhaled the cool breeze as he smoothed his part of his hair behind his ear.
“Do you like staring at something for a long time.” A menacing attractive voice crept upon his ears. The whispered echoed in his thoughts for a while. Yet he did not move. He was absolutely calm; as he took another deep breathe. Soon he faced up to looking at the full moon above him.
“Njuzi, you are very annoying.” The young woman behind him instantly frowned, as she ambled toward Ren. Her dark hood covered her upper face only the full purple colored lips were shown. She tilted her head upward to see the river’s current more.
The wind blown her cloak east as it did to Ren’s cloak as well. The moon above them made scattered highlights throughout the river. The wind’s gust fluttered the tall trees behind them. The whistling sounds from the icy wind’s current made Njuzi shivered a little.
“So are you going to stare at the river all night or…” Njuzi paused her sentence as she stopped to look at Ren’s expression. He seemed to be more serious now, than ever before. Staring at the river for sometime, he could be thinking about something important. So Njuzi just shut her mouth, while inhaling in chilled air to obtain calmness.
“You know the winter solstice is almost here. The first day of winter…” Ren spoke in a soft tone, less harsh this time. The moment he said winter the second time, Njuzi knew why he said that. The thought of Azuka’s daughters concerned him everyday. She took a deep breath as she walked closer to him. She walked slowly, sauntering little by little. Njuzi’s arms were also crossed to help her confront the freezing air.
“They will be fine, as long as they are apart. And happily I enjoy the winter solstice. It’s the time where the spirits come and join us.” Njuzi removed her hood, which had revealed her white pale skin in front of Ren, as well as her light violet eyes.
Her long black hair was caught inside the cloak, as she was lazy to bring it out. Yet her two huge bangs that were part of her hair, covered part of her face. Ren could hear her teeth chattering loudly, as she shivered more. Njuzi quickly looked at his eyes, and then turned away.
“Yes, I know. But it’s not that.” Ren slowly looked at her with a deep expression. An expression so deep that can make you stare at it forever. Njuzi tried to understand what Ren was trying to say, but she couldn’t understand. Njuzi’s thoughts wandered for a while, as Ren turned his face to look at the river. While, breaths of visible clouds of chilled air came steadily from the two of them.
“Then what is it…” Njuzi broke the silence from the soft whisper, yet Ren did not glance back at her. His attention appeared to be only to the river’s current as the waves splashed again and again. Njuzi sighed quietly as she placed her hands on her hips. She inhaled more cold air, while rubbing her left eye from irritation.
“You know you and I, we are alike. Though I wonder why we have to fight.” Njuzi froze for a moment, and then quickly reflected at his response. She was a little bothered that he changed the subject, but she didn’t care overall. She was in love with the man beside her, and could never wished a better moment than this. Ren closed his eyes, as if he was falling asleep, Njuzi noticed.
“Yea, we are like the sun and moon. You share the light of the day, as I share the rays at the night. We are complete opposites, but I heard that attracts soul mates.” Njuzi deeply blushed for the moment, and was happy Ren didn’t see it. Her face reddened a bit, and it almost appeared unnatural for a dark summoner. She had stroked the back of her head, as she stared at Ren’s movements. His eyes were still closed, and his position was still like a rock.
“Right.” Ren opened his eyes again, and glimpsed at Njuzi blushed face. She quickly turned the other way, as Ren glanced up at the night sky. Njuzi took deep breaths to control her emotions. Also her body heated up, making more warmth under her huge cloak. She positioned both her hands on her cheeks to help her stop blushing so much, and then pinched them extremely.
“I’ll guess I’ll stay here too.” Njuzi’s face was less red, and could now confront on seeing Ren face to face. Shortly he turned around at the opposite side of the river, and headed to the forest. The young woman instantly turned her head as she observed Ren leaving, and then followed him. Ren stopped his amble, and took a deep breath. While Njuzi was at least ten inches away from him, she could tell what Ren’s expression looked like.
“I have realized that I cannot stay for long. I have to go back to Azuka.”
“Oh, right. We can’t let anything happen to the Goddess.” Njuzi said with a sarcastic tone, as she rubbed her frozen hands together to create warmth on them. Yet the light summoner did not look back. She heard him took another deep breath, as another chilled breeze blown in their direction. Njuzi took another step toward Ren.
“Anyway, I have to go back. You can come with me if you like…” Njuzi stopped at his response, but immediately shook her head. She placed her arm across her stomach, since butterflies were swarming inside in her. Yet she came up with a stubborn answer back to him.
“No—uh…no thanks, Ren. I’ll stay here.”
“Fine.” With a single whistle made by the light summoner, he disappeared by a waft of white visible airstreams. After he was gone, Njuzi stared at the spot where Ren was last. She took several deep breaths to gain tranquility. Then rotated around to gaze at the untamed stream again.
“It’s always about Azuka with him. I wish I were the goddess instead of Ms. Beautiful. Then Ren will only think of me. Life is a drag.” Njuzi sat on the verdant ground. She swiftly got up when she felt that the ground was damped. A moment later she started to just watch to the river’s movement.
The young dark summoner looked around the area, and after she learned that she was alone, she quickly got a tiny scroll from inside her heavy cloak. An ancient scroll that is a very powerful one. Njuzi never used one like this before. This scroll is a spell that can let the person see what will happen to the future. Though it was forbidden to use spiritual energy on this realm, Njuzi was too tenacious to care.
“I call open Ijo, the water spirit of fate,
With hope that the future is still at sate.” Njuzi made difficult hand signs, and created a small position of visible energy around her. The energy looked like violet flames surrounding her, as she forcefully sat down on the ground with her legs crisscross. She focused her energy on the scroll, while the inscriptions on it seemed to glow.
She was in a trance now, and her energy was being drained from doing the spell. Njuzi was about done with the spell, as the scroll levitated on top the on the surface of the river, it floated in the air. The inscriptions drifted off the scroll, and settled just above the surface of the river. As it conjured up the spirit, Njuzi tried to catch her breath. So much energy was drained from her that she couldn’t get up on her feet.
“From your request you seek,
I’ll let you take a peek.
See what the future holds,
Don’t be agitated what I’ll unfold.” Njuzi couldn’t see the spirit. Though the river glowed deep beneath, and the sacred symbols were on place. The voice of the spirit seemed to have an echoed every time it spoke, with an eerie tone that made Njuzi a tad uneasy. Especially when it spoke about don’t be agitated. But thing was the spirit only with described the future by words instead of vision. Which will be a little difficult since it spoke only in riddles.
“I see a twisted fate,
That will become revealed sometime in a date.
Four sisters separated all and the same,
Will be reunited by a supernatural game.
“They are the seasons of nature,
Reincarnated if I may be so secure.
And they will try to find their place in the world…” Ijo’s voice died down as it spoke the last words, as well as the river’s glowing light. The writing floated back to the scroll, which instantly rolled back into a cylinder. After a while the scroll levitated back on the verdant damped ground beside Njuzi’s hip. The young sorceress was unable to utter anything from her mouth, but could mused things she wanted to say in her mind.
‘The thought of saying anything about the seasons could have made Ren infuriated. If the sisters were reunited then they will open a portal to revive their father from the dead, and the dark creatures will grow stronger. Their father, a Black Magician cursed his all of his daughters of bringing the dead and Evil upon Njuzi’s world in the first place. Yet they are weak and harmless if the sisters remain on this world. But if one of them is dead, the curse is immediately broken. Yet their mother does not wished for that to happen. They cannot be united, they cannot know about their world, and cannot fall into the wrong hands.’
Njuzi sat on the moisten ground while ignoring the bothering chilled wind blowing in her face. Her energy was drained and couldn’t get up, and she had no idea how to tell Ren about the sisters. Sighing loudly, Njuzi looked at the beautiful full moon way above her. And pleaded it to give her the strength for the future.

-:- Author’s Notes: I could care less for grammar. I'm an artist not a writer. I act on storyline not structure, sorry, sorry, and sorry again. I’m so sorry about all this, but the idea was pointless. So I redid some stuff of the girls and the whole settings. I’m trying to find my heart to write again.
Inspiration: Frou Frou and Nati’s art. Any betas or people who see mistakes are very much welcomed. God I have a lot of reviews. --
