No One

Here I am alone again,

Waiting for someone to find me.

Waiting for someone to stop the pain I inflict upon myself.

I keep waiting but no one will ever come,

No one wants a person who spends each lonely night,

Pouring crimson regrets and begging to die.

'No one,' a voice tells me, 'no one wants you.'

I look up suddenly realizing I'm no longer alone.

As I squint through the darkness,

I can see your thin body's silouette,

Hesitantly stepping farther into the darkness.

"Who are you?" I ask, knowing it won't matter,

'No one,' the voice repaets,'no one wants you.'

You look at me with sad blue eyes and whisper,

"No one."
