Must be a dream.

You love me.

How very, very lovely.

Must be a dream.

I really wish that I could maybe die a smaller death for you--
A sweet and silent sacrifice to show you my devotion.
A million little ends for me, it seems, would be the best solution--
Lots of little finishes, short of something special.

I swear I'm not just rambling about anything to make you smile--
A simple, shameless comfort, just the truth and nothing else.
I care enough to step aside and weep through pained indifference.
Maybe love, maybe something so much more demeaning.
