i want to rewind the mind games,
the ones you put me through
everything seemed so fun to you
(of course).
the msn conversations of swearing
about
parents siblings
homeworkpayday
truthlies
happinesspain
youme
love. love.
but there isn't any more of that.
we don't share that stuff anymore.
(although sometimes i wish we did).
now it's not talking.
not so much as take each other's friends away,
glaring at each other as we pass in the halls.
there's nothing left to do now but crash,
beyond the spectrum's grasp.
into the invisibility that lies inside our
"friendship".
the friendship that was all a tale
no such thing as late night phone conversations
of
days togethernights alone
instant messengercell phones
grumpy mum long-gone dad
cigarettes drugs
lowhigh
youme
love. love.
sometimes i still wonder where it all went.
how you could lie so easily to me,
to her, to everyone.
and then just drop us like you did.
then sooner or later,
(of course),
call me back,
asking for forgiveness
(like you always do).
then we go through the phase of
screaming through
smilestears
make-upsbreak-ups
stitchesbreaks
lip glosseyeliner
scaredbrave
themus
hate hate
goodbye. goodbye.
