Lightning crashing in the distance
The booming sounds of mighty thunder
A lonely god releasing his rage on Earth
The watch on my wrist reads after midnight
A big light shines on me from overhead
While the only melody is made by the raindrops and storm
This scattered setting is where I find bliss
There's something so peaceful in the havoc of such weather
Something so serene it helps me to fall asleep
And dream of a bright new day
With a grand future I've always desired
Tomorrow I will wake up with joy
For tomorrow will become the new today
And today I could change the world
