How would you guys like to see a sequel to "The Dark One"? This is actually kind of Dylan's story, but don't be so surprised if I put another character in the first two chapters. They actually tie together, as you will soon see in Chapter Three. For those of you who have actually read "The Dark One", you might actually understand what the heck is going on in here, who the characters are... everything. So, kick back, relax, and R&R, no flames at all, though.

“PROLOGUE”

It had been seventeen years. That little punk had to die. She had been in the way all this time, thinking that everyone was helping her out of her dilemma. But the truth is... no one ever wanted to help a little girl in the midst of her troubles.

She had cried every day and every night. Even when she was in high school. And it had made everyone upset. Made the killer want to go after the vulnerable young lady like a hunter after its prey.

But she had slipped out of her predator’s grasp every time it tried to attack her. There was no way to even corner her for a moment, she was so elusive. Then someone had to make it worse by—

Now she had a sister and a brother. Oh, boy. More protection. Time to wipe them out. As soon as possible. Or else they would multiply like little rabid bunnies. Or cockroaches. Whichever one was most hated by people.

Never mind. Goldfish is the worst thing that could ever be created. Even any type of fish.

“Now we have to figure out how to exterminate them....” The echo of a laugh bounced off the walls of the darkened room.

No one would ever figure out who.

No one would ever figure out why.

It would always be how.

And there was nothing they could do to stop it.
