I Miss You

I miss you

I miss the times we spent together

Walking to the beach and squishing ‘bobbilies’

Jumping from rock to the rock

Hoping we wouldn’t fall into the water

I miss the times we spent together

When you walked to my house in the rain

And I drove you to Russell’s

When after I stayed up all night

And comforted you

Wishing only to make you laugh again

I miss the times we spent together

Eating Laffy Taffy and watching movies

Passing endless notes during class

Sitting in the hall at lunch joking around

Going to the mall to try everything on and to buy nothing

I miss the times we spent together

You’re my best friend in the world

You’ve always been there for me

And I’ve always been there for you

Even though we live so far apart now

It doesn’t hurt our friendship

Cause like you said

‘when we’re old, we will think this the best friendship ever found’

A/N: This is for my best friend, Brandy. We've been best friends since like second grade. I moved away a year ago and have only seen her like once since then. We were really close, we went to each other to talk, to vent, to whatever all the time, and lately she's been having a really tough time with life and I feel really bad that i can't be there in person to comfort her. So, i wrote her a poem btw, 'bobbilies' are these kelp things with bubbles at the end, we used to go the beach by my house and jump on these things just to hear them pop.

Hmm, and this isnt uploading how i want it too, i want there to be a space in between each 'i miss the times we spent together', ya know, a new paragraph or whatever. Stupid document manager...
