Angelic Voices

Every angel has a voice of its own,

From all the others vocally distinct,

And yet even as it longs for its home,

Music lures the creature to Being's brink.

For angelic choirs do sing as one,

And to heaven are nearer than they think.

To be an angel, one need not have wings,

Nor need one seek the aura in the face.

For love unveils the beauty of all things.

In giving love there is an equal grace.

When children’s voice through endless spaces rings,

Then surely angels come to seek this place.
