(A/N: not my best or favorite piece, but I crashed out from Hypoglycaemia again last night, so I felt inspired to do this.)

Hypoglycaemia

Hey, sugar.
I hear you’re comin’ round again.
I missed you last time,
I was too busy passed out on the floor.
I woke up twelve hours later, had a headache,
bad taste in my mouth.
I thought that I smelled smoke,
but it was only me.
Last night… I crashed and burned.

Unconscious,
you know you could have saved me.
It’s what I wanted,
but you were too busy walking away.
When I came to, you’d been gone for many hours.
I remember the pain
in my head and my limbs.
the whole world blurry,
hey sugar… I crashed and burned.

Where the sky kisses earth is the eventual.
The distant where I think you’ve gone to be.
Hallucinations drive me wilder than the wildest of my dreams…
Sugar, I searched everywhere, but you weren’t in my blood stream.

Hey, sugar.
Does a drink sound good for sometime?
Might the offer bring you ‘round?
You know, when you go… I lose control.
I taste bitterness.
I hear a slowing heartbeat,
I feel cold.
And then I… crash and burn.

Hey sweetie,
how ‘bout another bite?
Bring me back around?
You know, if you don’t… I’ll fail myself.
I’ll lose myself.
I’ll lose consciousness,
be frozen.
And then I’ll… crash and burn.

Where the earth touches my face is my bed.
Where I go when you leave me for some time.
Dizzy spells of magic that take all the words I may have bade…
Down and out and losing with no more sugar in my blood.
