Dangerous Game

Credits to: "Dangerous Game" from Jekyll and Hyde.
Thanks to Li for saying it's AMAZING the first thing she read.
Thanks to Meg for editing the first line and reprimanding me about commas. I love you both so much.
Thank you Emily.

The skirt flew up as she spun around. The black fabric, with its swirling red laced up from the hem, seemed to move with her. Her black half-inch heels slapped the floor as she stopped abruptly. His arms caught her around the waist as she spun in to him, stopping her fluid movements. Her heels wavered slightly but she balanced out, starting the steps again. She moved back and forth her black heels keeping in the time with music as she counted in her head. She felt herself stop, her back pressed against his chest as the music paused for a moment. She sucked in a breath of humid air before hearing the crash of song start up again. The lyrics bounced off the walls flying into her ear as her legs stepped forward.

“At the sound of your voice…” He whispered into her ear, spinning her around to face him.

“At the moment your eyes meet mine,” she finished softly. His pale hands clutched her wrists as they listened to the music play on.

No remorse and no shame - Fire, fury and flame - Cause the devil's to blame…

Her heels scuffed the wooden floor once more, as she spun out and was brought back in to repeat the swaying movements. Her body moved closer to his, and she could see in the adjacent mirror their reflections. His eyes seemed slightly distant as the words filled her ears, but in a flash of sound, he became alert once more. Her skirt flew up again as she spun round and round – her heels dancing across the floor, she could feel the smooth fabric of her top clutch her frame.

I am out of my mind; I am out of control…

The next thing she knew her body was pressed against his, his hands around her back. The black heels attached to her feet slid up his leg as she leaned backwards, feeling his hands slide up her back to hold her in place. The song ended with a smooth decrescendo of music, softly fading away into the background. Her heel was at his waist and her long hair dangle above the floor. He quickly brought her back up so they were face-to-face, noses touching.

“And the angel proclaims…” he whispered to her, his breath falling around her face.

“It’s a dangerous game.” Her voice halted as their lips met, clinging to each other forcefully. Her foot wrapped around his waist as the kissed deepened. She felt her stomach begin to squirm with desire, looking into his hazy brown eyes she felt her breath catch in her throat. Groaning, he pulled his lips away from hers, holding her gaze.

“It certainly is,” he spoke softly; she almost didn’t catch his words. At last, she dropped her foot to the floor and it clicked against the wood. Backing away from him, she moved towards the CD player, reaching for the play button. She didn’t want to think about it, but as the song lyrics swept over her – when he grabbed her hands to start the dance, she could help but think. Soon she heard the soft, sweet sounds of Linda Eder filled the room. Her head snapped back and her hair fell down her back, and she allowed herself to be submersed in the music.

A sin with no name…

Reviews please. Any thoughts?
