I played upon the beach;
Right near the water I was.
I dug into the sand;
And built a wall so sound.
I built it high and long;
And thick enough I thought it would hold.
The waves swept in and beat against the wall;
But bravely it stood and did not fall.
Foolishly I cried “My walls are stronger than you wave”;
And the waves swept in again and knocked the wall right down.
