Would it be too much if I could reach to the stars

And pick the brightest one just for you

Holding its warmth with your hand in mine

It still paling in comparison to the twinkle in your eyes

And the fire that it lights in me when I gaze upon them

For those are the only stars I could ever wish upon

And the only stars in my sky that could make my wish come true

Would it be too much if the oceans, and all the sweet songs they ever sang

Would open their voices for you and only you

As I wish I could only do, but try as I might

Cannot give in words the justice that you deserve

To the wonderful things that I see and feel in you

That nobody else can, a secret that only the sea could ever sing free

Would it be to much if all the angels themselves came down from their lofty perches

And try to take my eyes for you away to keep for themselves

Locking them in a golden box with my heart itself as the only key

And watch them fail and fall together, for not even the angels themselves

By their false divinity could ever take me from you and you from me

Would it be to much

If I just said that you are my everything

How you are my angel

And the song in my voice

And the wish come true from a far away stare

Would it be to much

If I just said I loved you
