No One's Title

This is who I am and who I continue to be.

This is my quest for all eternity.

May it be a blessing for all that it is worth.

May it not lead to destruction, only to rebirth.

But whatever I can make of it, let it be known to all

That greater than bravery is the one who answers the call.

The fates of those around us are not for us to see.

Instead we are the makers of our own destiny.

Should we accept or rather deny?

We have that option, the choice we must define.

A gift we've been given, to follow or lead.

And within either one, we grow from given deeds.

From it should we rise, or possibly fall?

That is determined by actions great and small

And if we succeed, where then do we go?

Is it high above, or is it far below?

Or for some us, who are still learning to fly

Is it a myth that is seemingly awry?

How should we know, or even believe?

For some, that is still the greatest mystery.

But all will come to know and our answer we will find

When we stand before the greatest power: the supreme and divine.
