Fandom: Hane Ga Nai

5AM

-

Kitsune shifted and turned. There was something heavy ontop of him. He blinked at the ceiling, unable to move and yawned. He rose up after a moment. The thing lying ontop of him groaned... then grunted. He blinked blearily, trying to clear his eyes and stared at the person.

“Nii...chan?”

“ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzZZZZZZzzzzz...”

“...”

“Mmm... COOKIES.... mmmmmMmm...”

An eyebrow twitched.

“”

7AM

-

There was warmth and the presence of another’s body pressed snuggly next to him. Kitsune felt the tail of his brother wrapped in his and the light breath on his shoulder, on the back of his neck. Mikel’s arms were wrapped snuggly around him. He wondered when they’d moved from being near the back of his head.

But it didn’t matter. He didn’t want to move. He didn’t want to think. He just wanted to sleep and enjoy everything as it was right then and there. It was their day off after all. Besides... they were nocturnal creatures after all. What purpose would there be for them to wake up now?

The sun was warm. The gentle breeze from the open window rustled what bit of their hair poked outside the thick blanket. It wasn’t like they needed them, the blanket that is, but it felt nice... the weight of the blanket against their backs, covering their faces, the warmth from the other’s body trapped within the thick fabric.

It was perfect.

Kitsune hoped it would never end.

8AM

The buzzing was loud.

“Ngghhh...”

He tried to block it out, tried to ignore the loud, constant, insistent, ANNOYING sound.

“NGGGGHHHH!!”

He folded his arms over his ears and tried to block it out, but it wasn’t working. He poked his head out from under the covers and stared at the little desk by their bed. He couldn’t help but glare hatefully at the alarm-clock that would NOT shut up seated innocently next to his head. His brother next to him also stared incredulously at the evil mechanical device, fully intent on killing the little sleep destroyer as soon as he could properly decipher the fact that it seemed to say “10 PM” on it.

“10?! WHAT THE HELL?!”

“It can’t be 10... It just can’t. We only went back to sleep about an hour ago... not even.”

“But it says...”

“I don’t care what it says!” Kitsune moaned and curled back under the covers letting out little whimpers and moans at the loss of his wonderful warmth and his wonderful sleep.

“...”

“...oh say something Niichan!”

“...it’s broken.”

“...”

“...you know... I hate everything.”

“Haha!”

8:30AM

-

“Kiss me darling...”

“Okay.”

And they kissed, a morning ritual that would never truly end. Their kiss lasted longer than either could hold out and soon their lungs burned for air. They parted and then nuzzled faces, noses, necks, and shoulders. Mikel was still under the blanket and the sheets, Kitsune sitting in a chair near the side of the bed. The alarm was in shambles on the floor. Clothes spewed about the room. Both were naked and basking in the contrast of cool air and warm sun coming in through the balcony window. Neither had anything to say or do, but since they were awake...

“Come back to bed, love... We could try...”

“You know it wouldn’t work.”

“Yeah I know... but you could still come back to bed. I wanna hold you.”

“Okay.”

And he climbed back into bed and into the arms he knew all too well.
