The Romance in My Life

Author’s Note: If you read the first couple of chapters and aren’t interested keep reading. The story gets more interesting once she gets out of the life she is in now.

Chapter One

My Life

It was the middle of January, and the last couple of weeks I had trouble breathing, walking and keeping any kind of focus on school subjects. The doctor said it was just a cold, and put me on an inhaler to keep fluids out of my lungs. No one else in my family has been sick, but then again I wouldn’t know because I never see them. They are always sleeping, doing something to their pleasing, or deceased.

My mother and father were always so clumsy and started a fire to the hotel at their second honey moon three years ago, and died in the hospital. My mother was pregnant with my brother, who was to be named Jacob. As for me, I am living with my grandparents, in a town called Rally. My name is Leslie, and I am fifteen years old.
