Author's Note: Wow, I don't think I've used so much vocabulary in a single poem before. Not so much that rhymes anyways...but, interpret this how you will. It was the 'lustful' case between a mentor/student or boss/employee, or even master/servant. Who knows? It's all up to you, my readers, to decide for yourselves! (Btw, I support the above relationships and DO know they are all capable of love despite what society may say,but I wanted to write the lustful side of it. The one most commonly shown it seems...)
Of Our Own Connexion
Since we first met I felt
Your heart melt
At the sight of me feelings arise
And you can't help but wonder why
A relationship this intimate is strictly forbidden
So you must keep those fantasies hidden
Resist all temptation
Don't let it drive you to desperation
You're here to teach me
But please, only to a tolerable degree
Yes I'm aware of our own connexion
But please, spare me your affection
Kind words spoken from your lips
Turn to watching the rhythm of my hips
As I'm walking towards your desk
Almost predator-esque
Lingering gazes this profound are strictly forbidden
So you're forced to keep your watchful nature hidden
Resist all temptation
Don't let it cause too much frustration
As an eager student I yearn
To learn
But only the subject required
Not those things which you have desired
Yes I'm aware of our own connexion
But please spare me the feel of your erection
I have now realized the truth of the situation
The reason behind your prohibited infatuation
You merely want to reach out and offer me your protection
For when you look at me you see your own reflection
The power of words both kind and unkind
The pain you see done unto me tends to remind
Of the boy you once were and what you have become
Attempting to prevent me from going numb
Beyond repair
This connexion of pasts we share
Your touch so intimate is strictly forbidden
You realize you're presence is becoming unbidden
Resist all temptation
Hold back this wild sensation
I now understand
But I choose not to enter this 'no man's land'
With you
Sorry but that is the path which I pursue
I am now truely aware of our own connexion
But please, forgive my deliverance of rejection
