Beginning
Deep in space lay a planet much like earth; only it was about the size of Neptune. The planet orbited two suns in a figure eight pattern. A giant landmass sat below the fluffy white clouds with a large city that lined the coast off a very large ocean. A white space station orbited the planet. It had the letters SESF printed on the side of it; the letters stood for Second Earth Security Force.
A light grey shuttle came out of hyperspace and headed towards the planet. The station gave the shuttle clearance and it passed into Second Earth's atmosphere. Once safely in the planets air space the shuttle was surrounded by three Vampire fighter escorts. The three Vampire fighters scream across the sky as they escorted the light gray shuttle towards the capital building. The sun shined brightly in the clear afternoon sky, the four ships glistened as they passed over the southern part of the city. Citizens looked and watched the four ships fly over. The ships made their way out of the city into a suburb. Children who were playing in their front yards looked up and watched in awe as the ships flew overhead.
The capital building was getting closer into view; its white outside structure could be seen from miles away. But to any unsuspecting visitor it’s like the gates to hell. Giant turbo cannons were spread out over miles of land, aimed at the sky prepared for a possible aerial attack. Giant walkers that resembled scorpions lined the outside gate waiting for an attack from land.
“Shuttle one you have clearance to land,” a voice came over the shuttle intercom.
“Copy that,” the pilot responded.
The three fighters broke off when the shuttle was in the safety of the turbo cannons. The shuttle came up to a landing pad and dropped its landing gear, then a bright red laser came out of the sky. The laser hit the shuttle's cockpit and it immediately started to spiral to the ground. The shuttle smacked the ground hard and blew up in a fiery explosion throwing pieces everywhere. The guards on the landing pad immediately shouted over their radios for help, and report the disaster.
Out over the horizon sat a large black ship, it looked like three bricks stuck together. It had two different cannons; the two on the outer sections were plasma energy cannons while the center cannon was antimatter. The black metal glistened from the sunlight; a group of fighters could just barely be made out surrounding the ship.
Inside the capital building an officer wearing all black ran down a silver hallway to an office at the end. On the door to the office a sign read Lord Barkov, Planet leader. The officer knocked and a deep voice answered, "Come in." The officer stepped into a white office, on the walls hung pictures of battle cruisers and fighters. A redwood desk sat in the middle of the room and a man dressed in black armor sat at the desk.
"Sir, there is a Terellian destroyer sitting just outside our boarders. That thing shot down the Bothan diplomat shuttle," said the officer.
"I have informed the Viktor, get to the shuttle bay and tell the Wolf Pack to get out there now," Barkov ordered.
"Yes sir," the soldier saluted and left.
Only seconds after the officer left ten midnight-black fighters exited their underground hangars and entered the airspace around the capital building. Each fighter resembled a triangle, except it had a tail wing and two missile slots on each side. The fighters soared into the sky and flew towards the hoard of fighters around the Terellian ship. The Terellian fighters had already gotten in range of the turbo cannons and their numbers were starting to drop. Each fighter that came in contact with a laser was vaporized instantly. The Wolf Pack fighters came in contact with the Terellian fighter's only seconds after they exited their hangars. The fighters made a triangle formation and flew into the barrage of laser fire and fighters. Lasers flew past the Wolf Pack fighters missing them only by inches.
The Terellian fighters split up, some went after the Wolf Pack, and the others continued their assault on the capital building. The Wolf Pack fighters made a sudden break in their formation and started flying in erratic patterns across the sky. The Terellian fighters tried to keep up with the fast Wolf Pack fighters but they weren't successful. Most slammed into each other and crashed to the ground in flames. The Wolf Pack fighters then picked off the remaining Terellian fighters one by one using their rockets and lasers. The cannons from the capital building had vaporized all the fighters that had broken off for their assault. The Terellian's had failed in their attack and the destroyer was trying to exit the atmosphere unharmed.
There was a loud high-pitched whistling sound as a giant black ball whizzed overhead. In seconds it impacted the destroyer and a spectacular explosion lit up the air. The Terellian destroyer fell back towards the planet surface and a ground-shaking explosion occurred. Dirt, rock, metal, and fire was thrown into the air and settled in a four-mile wide, three-mile deep crater.
Barkov walked down the silver painted hallway to the main hall of the capital building. The main hall of the building was a massive open area where everyone entered. The giant glass dome supplied the room with light during the day. At night the hanging chandeliers provided the light. Standing in the middle of the room were three figures, one was wearing black armor, a black cape, and a black helmet. The other two figures were two anthro wolves; they had black fur and held a staff that was half spear and half sword. The anthro wolves scared lots of the staff that walked by them, they were seven feet tall and had a lot of muscle; their eyes glowed bright white.
"Black Helmet, what are you doing here?" Barkov asked surprised
"You told us you had the situation under control, only minutes after we sent our shuttle did we observe a message sent to the Terellian government. We don’t know if you sent it or if someone else did. For your sake you better hope that someone else was spying on you and sent the message," said Black Helmet. He spoke calmly but Barkov knew he was very angry.
"I had the up most intention of having that shuttle here safely," said Barkov.
"You do know that we at the Bothan spy net have our spy's everywhere, and it will only be a matter of time before you fall and I take over," said Black Helmet with some anger.
"You, take over my planet, please, my men would never bow to you," Barkov spat back.
One of the wolves let out a low growl and stepped forward. Barkov stepped back scared out of his mind as the large creature advanced on him. It pointed its staff at Barkov but didn’t impale him with it.
"I don’t have control over what my body guards to do you, if they tear you limb from limb it's your own fault," said Black Helmet.
"I'll send some delegates to your station on the Devastator. Don't worry we'll fix the alliance," Barkov let out a scared screech. "Just don’t kill me," he continued covering his face.
"I knew you would understand," said Black Helmet.
The wolf stepped back to Black Helmets side and stood at attention. Black Helmet looked at Barkov's pale face, he nodded and then the three of them left the capital building. Soon after the three had left two of Barkov's officers stepped up to him.
"How did he know that the calling in the Terellian's was our idea?" asked an officer.
"He didn’t, but the Bothan's are getting suspicious," said Barkov.
"I don’t understand why we don’t form an alliance with them," said a confused officer.
"If we form an alliance with the Bothan's then our black market spending would be uncovered and we'd loose all our partners," said Barkov.
"Don't worry sir, we'll make sure that the delegates we send to the Bothan's are equipped with bombs so they can kill the superior officers," said an officer.
"You make sure that happens, and that it's enough explosives to take them all out so they can't call for help," said Barkov.
"Yes sir," The officers said as they departed.
Barkov went back into his office pondering what had just happened. The Bothan's knew that their diplomats were going to be killed. They had planned it so perfectly; every line said exactly as planned, so that nothing would have gone wrong. But something did, the Bothan's had found out about the call to the Terellian government. If this new plan to kill off the Bothan delegates failed then there was no way he would be able to get out of the charges.
