Sorry for the long wait college classes had prevented me from editing this chappy. So anyway here you go.

New Order

No more than a month after Black Helmet fixed up the capital building and remade just about every single law Barkov instated, Barkov was reported dead by the Terellian military. The Terellian's were also pissed at Black Helmet for breaking the alliance and sending part of his army out to destroy a black market station. They still hadn’t figured out who had stolen their ships, but they were about to find out. Ready or not both planets were going to go into war. Black Helmet knew this and had the solution in his hand; he sat at his new desk in his newly remade office. The carpet was a maroon red that fit nicely with the white painted walls. On his left side there was a putting green, pool table, and foosball, on his right, a pit that was fitted with chairs and a big screen TV. In the center was the large table where the Generals would sit. At this moment the generals were issuing a draft for the army. To Black Helmet's surprise more than enough people signed up when the draft was initiated, anyone over eighteen was to sign up for the military. Even sixteen-year-olds were signing up for basic training. Black Helmet went from his office to the main entrance to the capital building. Once he stepped out side a roaring applause filled the air as some 80,000 new soldiers stood outside on the desert sand. Black Helmet walked up to a podium that was set up in front of a large fountain.

"I see we have a great turnout," Black Helmet said into the mic. "I did this for one reason, to fix the rut that Barkov dug for you."

Cheering erupted from the crowd and ceased when Black Helmet put his hands up. "I am glad you like the idea, ever since the new laws were formed I've seen an increase in this planets enthusiasm. Trading with other star systems has risen 35 in this past month. This means that we will soon have allies to help us in this time of need," said Black cheering and clapping came from the crowd.

"I have a couple questions for you, please answer these truthfully. Will you give your fullest potential during battle?" he asked.

"YEAH!" the crowd of soldiers shouted in unison.

"If a fellow soldier gets injured would you press on or take him with?" he asked.

"TAKE HIM WITH!" The crowd shouted.

"No one, should die out in the battle field, but we all know that's not possible. If a fellow soldier should die don't go back for him, you'll only endanger your own life," said Black Helmet. "We have two months to train all of you to be the best you can be, in one hour shuttles will land and you shall board them. They will take you to the Devastator, which will then take you to sector forty-three for training. The facilities are not yet complete but they have all the necessary equipment."

The soldiers cheered again as Black Helmet stepped off the podium. The soldiers then stood up and walked towards the capital building. Of course not everyone could fit inside the building so most waited outside. One young man in his early twenties with short black hair stepped out of the crowd approached Black Helmet.

"Black Helmet, I am Griggs Trangber," Griggs introduced himself.

"Peters son, am I correct?" asked Black Helmet.

"Yes sir," said Griggs.

"I'm sorry to hear about your fathers death. I hear you are very skilled in translation," said Black Helmet.

"Yes, I have this for you. It's the entire Terellian language broken down and translated in to English," said Griggs as he handed Black Helmet at black book.

Black Helmet sifted through the pages and the snapped the book shut. "I have a task for you, rather it's a job offer. I would like to sign you onto our Galactic Translation Team. You will help translate languages so we can acquire more allies," said Black Helmet.

"I accept your offer," said Griggs. Black Helmet extended his hand and Griggs took it.

"If all goes well we shouldn't have to deal with the Terellian's much longer. This book will come in handy since some Terellian's can't speak english," said Black Helmet.

"Yes sir, I've studied their culture for quite some time now. It appears that they've adopted the english language but most refuse to learn it," said Griggs.

"At least you've been doing your homework, follow me and I'll show you to the room. Maybe you can get my other workers to be just as skilled as yourself," said Black Helmet.

Griggs smiled and nodded, Black Helmet lead him into the capital building. For the next month the soldiers trained in sector forty-three. The majority of the soldiers were training for ground combat. The first part of ground combat training consisted of getting to know the weapons used, such as sniper rifles, assault rifles, shotguns, and pistols. The second part was the ability to survive in a heated combat situation. Soldiers fought in mock combat in a large arena that simulated any type of battle zone. Temperatures could be scalding hot or bitter cold; it all depended on what the trainers wanted to do for the day. Powder shots, small round pellets filled with red powder, were used in stead of actual bullets. Each soldier was split up into his or her division and they had to follow orders from their commanding officers to the book. If one person messed up they'd run the simulation again until the soldiers had gotten it right.

Other soldiers were training for space and aerial combat. The only fighters in use at the time were the Scorpion and Vampire fighters. The scorpion looked like a giant tube flying through space. The Scorpion may look weird but it is very fast and has good maneuverability for the speed it can sustain, which is about three hundred miles per hour. The Vampire fighter is a six-winged fighter that is just a bit slower than the Scorpion and it has better maneuverability. It's slower because it harbors two missile packs hidden in the front two wings; each missile pack holds ten proton missiles. The training for the flight sessions was done in a flight simulator capsule. Each capsule was linked to a super computer that could simulate any type of space or aerial battle. The simulation was almost life like, if the ship got hit the chair would vibrate and literally toss the user side to side. Although the ships were in a simulated environment they behaved as though the situation was real. Once a fighter was destroyed the simulator capsule would open and that would be it. The soldiers would have to follow their flight leader and the process was ran about the same as the soldiers who were training for ground combat. If a soldier screwed up the simulation would be ran again until it was done correctly.

Finally the day came to go off to war; all eighty thousand soldiers stood in straight lines in front of the capital building and awaited their shuttles. Each soldier wore black body armor with a helmet that only covered the top and back of the soldiers head. The armor wasn’t high grade but it would suffice until the new uniforms were finished. The shuttles landed one right after the other; it looked like a sea of gray seagulls landing in a pond of water. The soldiers boarded their shuttles and were taken up to the Devastator. Within the next three days the Devastator made its way to the Terellian home planet.
