I'm drowning

Painful, short gasping breaths

But I enjoy it

This bittersweet emotional roller coaster

Of what is affectionately known as love

I inhale

Like breathing smoke from a cigarette

Drawing in deep

Dieing slowly

Calm and relaxed

My world is turned upside down

Calm and order nonexistant

Every thought

Every breath

Reminds me of you

I rarely give a damn

About what others think

With you

I find myself constantly on my toes

Always worried

Scared

That I might lose you

My poems have lost their flow

The Seuss-like rhyme scheme

Gone

Replaced with this random

Partially disjointed

Train of thought

Never felt I was worth a shit

You were there for me

Made me special

And loved

I wish I was more expressive

I miss you

I love you

I wish I was with you

And, new feeling for me,

Baby I desire you
