Dad a common term

You can hear it every day

Webster defines father as

A man who has begotten a child

A man as he is related to his child or children

But to his children

He is so much more

He is love

And gives it unconditionally with each hug

He is protection

You feel safest just being in the same room

He is help

When we slip up

He is a best friend

Someone to lend you a hand

He is a role model

A person to look up to and emulate

He is fun

A pal who loves to spend time with you

He is humor

Does anything to make ya’ smile

He is a dad

An indefinable person

But the one thing he will always be

Is My Daddy

The Man who loves me!

I love you, Dad!
