Kiana scrolled down her buddylist, wondering if either May-Lynn or Elyzza were on. Hazel, her cousin, was on...Larry, her next door neighbor, was on...Oliver, her ex-boyfriend, was also on, but yet, no Lyzza and no May-Lynn. She sighed, bored out of her mind. This was not the way she wanted to spend her Friday night, just sitting at her computer screen, just waiting for someone to sign on to chat to. Suddenly, an IM box popped up.

BeautifulEyes75: Hey Kiana!
KikiLuvsTennis14: Hey Hazel, what up?
BeautifulEyes75: Not too much, I'm getting ready for my big soccer tournament in 15 minutes. You?
KikiLuvsTennis14: Just bored.
KikiLuvsTennis14: Good luck with the tournament.
BeautifulEyes75: Thanks cuz. :)
KikiLuvsTennis14: No problem.
BeautifulEyes75: Well, I should go. ttyl!

Kiana sighed and slumped deeper into her chair. Her fingers tapped beside the mousepad immediately. Tap...tap...tap...tippidy tap...tap...tap...tap...

RedHead023 has signed on at 5:35 PM.

Kiana almost let out a screech of happiness as the message popped up. About time! She thought before double clicking on May-Lynn's screen name in her almost-empty buddlylist. She began to type up a message.

KikiLuvsTennis14: May-Lynn!!! Where the hell have you been??
RedHead023: Jeez, calm down.
RedHead023: Can't a girl eat some dinner in peace :P
KikiLuvsTennis14: Fineeee but I'm so bored! Hazel had to go and then I was all lonely :'(
RedHead023: Oh Kiki, I feel so sorry for you...NOT!
KikiLuvsTennis14: Aww, I feel so unloved.

Kiana sat back as she waited for May-Lynn to reply. Hopefully Elyzza could get on and they could work out a time to go meet at the movies or something. Anything but sit her on AOL all night long! Before Kiana could bring up the Internet browser to look up the movie listings , the song 'Shake It Off' by Mariah Carey began to play. It was coming from her cellphone that was laying on her orange colored bean bag chair. Kiana dove to get it while dancing slightly to the music.

"I gotta shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it off. Ooooh!" She sang and flipped the phone open.

"Halla!" She blurted out, really hyper for some reason. She sank into her bean bag chair and snuggled the phone close. The voice on the other line came back softly and Kiana smiled as she knew who it was.

"Hey Kiki, what are you up to babe?" It was Travis, Kiana's boyfriend of two years. She still got that a little tingling throughout her body as she heard him talk and say her name.

"Oh nothing much, just really getting into my ringtone." She giggled, then sang out, "I gotta shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it off! Ooooh, just shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it off!" Travis laughed on the other end and Kiana smiled. His laughter is so cute...

"Anyway, what's up with you Trav?" Kiana asked, staring up at her boring, white ceiling, trying to imagine Travis's cute face smiling down at her. Mmm, how kissable those lips are...and those darling dimples! Oo la la!

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go out for dinner tonight, if you haven't already ate..." His voice trailed off. Damn, he's too late! I already ordered some pizza! Kiana looked back up at the ceiling, Travis's cute face still implanted in her mind. Those cute little dimples smiling back at her, his dark brown eyes almost taunting her. Oh, screw the pizza.

"Sure! Can you come pick me up at six?" Kiana asked, glancing at her alarm clock. It was 5:42, and that give her enough time to slip into something sexy, redo her makeup, and style her hair. Well, it would be cutting it close, but she would manage.

"Ok! I'll see you later then." Travis said, his voice cheerful. Kiana quickly mumbled a 'bye!' and hung up. She tossed her cellphone back on the chair as she hopped up. It was time to get beautiful!

At 6 o'clock, Kiana was being wisked away with Travis in his car, laughing and enjoying her night, while numorous IMs popped up on the screen and her cell began to play out 'Shake It Off', the screen saying 2 missed calls, 1 from May-Lynn and 1 from Elyzza.

RedHead023: Alright, I called her.
RedHead023: She wants to go to the movies.
RedHead023: I hear Poseiden is playing!
RedHead023: You wanted to see that, right? I do, and I'm sure Lyz won't care.
RedHead023: Hey, are you even there or am I talking to myself?
RedHead023: Helllllo? Kiki??
