Multitude of Casualties –6/18/06

Today has been the worst day
since yesterday
as I hide the quiet things
that no one ever knows.

Like that my heart is just
an empty room but,
it’s the place I have come to fear
the most and you’re
the wind that blew my heart
far away and over the hills.

Like howI’ll go on even though
it isn’t like it should be
and you can’t
always get what you want
and maybe it’s easier to
see what we want since
truth doesn’t make a noise,

The truth is
you never saw anyone else
when you’d look into my eyes.

A/N: "A woman can tell when a man looks into her eyes and sees someone else."-Martha Shaw, The Notebook

This poem (and the title)is just made of titles of the shows within the One Tree Hill TV series.
