Sand, slipping through
The hourglass of time;
Not much longer now.
Will I use the days wisely?
Will I choose to shout Your fame?

So many are at the very edge.
The Land of perishing is their
Present destination; and the terrible
Thing is that some think they are safe.
But the severity of their misjudgement
Is fatal beyond all imagination.
They do not know, they do not recognise.

Nevertheless! Jesus, I will speak out.
I will not keep silent as if muted.
They can mock, scoff, scorn and hurt me,
But Your truth will hit them in the end:
You love them.
