The Motherboard

The motherboard isn’t a space ship,
And it isn’t a video game either.
It’s something inside of a computer;
Not that I ever would have guessed.
I don’t know that stuff.
I stick to writing
And drawing
And sketching
And talking
Why would I ever know about a motherboard?

Technology is helpful though,
It gets me through the day
Without technology I wouldn’t be writing this
I wouldn’t draw
I wouldn’t sketch
I wouldn’t talk.

Ironic. I don’t know what a motherboard is, but it helps me live my life.
