Cupid’s Missed Again
>>-->
I knew he wasn’t good for me,
But Cupid flew in on sneak attack.
I turned to walk away from him
And Cupid shot me in the back.
>>-->
Why do I always fall for guys
That leave my heart in the debris?
I always lock my heart up tight,
But Cupid’s got a skeleton key.
>>-->
Cupid’s missed again
And this time is the worst.
This love’s a pool of heartbreak
And I dove in headfirst.
>>-->
The worse they are the harder I fall
And the good ones I push away.
Cupid never gets it right
And now I’m just a castaway.
>>-->
Love’s a game I never win
When Cupid holds the dice.
He’s auctioned off my heart again
But no one’s bid the asking price.
>>-->
Cupid’s missed again
But he won’t take the blame.
Next time you get out your bow and arrow
Can’t you try to aim?
>>-->
A/N: This is a completely random poem that I just thought of out of the blue. I really like it so if you can make any suggestions on how to fix it please do!
