The fates laughter echoing

To the depths where I reside-

Where darkness covers me

Longing for what isn’t mine

He won’t have me, won’t love me-

Because it hurts so much;

I can’t stop the tears

I am so tired of crying

When the pain overwhelms me;

I’m so sick of just surviving,

Of barely getting by

Will I wait for him?

When the needing consumes me?

When the longing controls me?

And the pain stops me in my tracks?

Is he really worth my life?

Is my love so weak

And my beauty so faded,

That I cannot win his love?
