The Lamb

All creation is in adoration

Of the sight that they behold,

From mountain to ocean,

To creature down below.

They wait in patient silence

For God’s words to come to pass,

Words come down through the ages

Spoken for the events that unfold at last.

Things that were foretold

Before even time began,

And now the world is ready

For the Sacrifice, the Lamb.

The Messiah, spirit and flesh,

Steps down from the heavens,

Splitting time in half.

Angels worshipping at his presence.

God with us- Immanuel

He is here for this reason:

To be the Savior of the world,

Only He can save us lowly human beings.

His mission here is death,

His goal is of new birth,

He comes for all humanity,

To give us life past Earth.

The crimson blood runs down the cross.

The words “It’s finished” are said,

And with one last breath, He dies a man,

Tearing the veil, there stands Christ.

Behold, the Last Lamb.

Darkness ruled ‘til Sunday morn

And God, at last, arose,

Fulfilling every prophecy

Spoken of in the Word.

Jesus Christ still lives today

He is in you, with you, beside,

Waiting for the Father’s word

To come a second time...
