Tears from Shallow Reasons

A poem to kill me
When I found weakness in this affection
When the gift from the gods of love
Feels so much like a normal arrow in your chest

To feel that you’re not the one
To feel that we’re wasting our time
To feel that my heart would break
Or to feel that yours might break with it

Thousand thoughts of this
Is wounding my faintly crying heart
Is drying our once overflowing romance
Is killing me so painful so slow

Never have a poem send me to tears
And never have tears run through shallow reasons
For never have I feel like dying
Yet continue with a broken heart

If our love ends with this poem
I want you to know you’ve send me to tears
I want you to know I hate this
And I want you to know that I love you

Authors Note:

Its funny how women can make a man feel so depressed sometimes. Sigh… Anyway, tell me what you think about this poem. Your comments, questions, and suggestions (or any kind of feedback) are very much welcomed. R/R…
